Hemant Rohera — inventor, research and patents, in five images

Hemant Rohera — full legal name Hemant Karamchand Rohera, published as Hemant K. Rohera — is an independent inventor and engineer based in Pune, Maharashtra, and the sole named inventor on three patent families in three engineering fields — hybrid energy storage, vehicle power electronics and a bioelectronic medical device. The legal name is the form printed on two of the three United States patents and on the Indian corporate register (DIN 03548414). This page sets out that record as five images, research first, each with the source a reader can check it against.

1. Hybrid Power Pack research

2. Three granted United States patents

Hemant Karamchand Rohera, inventor, Pune: three granted United States patents — US 10,523,019 B2 Hybrid power pack, granted 31 December 2019, expiry 17 October 2035; US 11,117,476 B2 vehicle power generating system (OMNIA Drive), granted 14 September 2021, expiry 2 July 2037; US 12,226,183 B2 medical therapeutic device (eMedica), granted 18 February 2025, expiry 5 May 2041.
The three United States grants, with grant and expiry dates as printed on the public record. The assignee field on all three reads “Individual”: the patents are held by the inventor, not by a company. Verify on Google Patents: US 10,523,019 B2 · US 11,117,476 B2 · US 12,226,183 B2.

3. The Indian patent certificate

Patent certificate for Indian Patent No. 301517, Hybrid Power Pack, issued by The Patent Office, Government of India, to the patentee Rohera Hemant Karamchand; application 2626/MUM/2015 filed 10 July 2015, date of grant 27 September 2018.
Indian Patent No. 301517, “Hybrid Power Pack”, issued by The Patent Office, Government of India, to the patentee Rohera Hemant Karamchand. Application 2626/MUM/2015, filed 10 July 2015; granted 27 September 2018. Every family member, jurisdiction by jurisdiction, is on the patent register.

4. Three registered companies

Hemant Karamchand Rohera, director (DIN 03548414) of three companies registered in Pune: Rohera Healthcare and Technology Private Limited (eMedica), CIN U33309PN2020PTC194671; Rohera Emerging Energies Private Limited (Hybrid Power Pack), CIN U29308PN2018PTC178170; Rohera Industries (OPC) Private Limited (OMNIA Drive), CIN U73100PN2018OPC174240.
Each company develops one of the three technologies; none of them owns a patent. Every CIN can be checked on the Ministry of Corporate Affairs portal. The reasoning behind the structure is in the three companies.

5. The record, in order

Timeline of Hemant Karamchand Rohera: 2015 US application filed for the Hybrid power pack; 2016 US application filed for the vehicle power generating system; 2018 Rohera Emerging Energies and Rohera Industries incorporated in Pune; 2019 US 10,523,019 B2 granted; 2020 Rohera Healthcare and Technology incorporated; 2021 US 11,117,476 B2 granted; 2023 Class A medical-device manufacturing licence from FDA Maharashtra; 2025 US 12,226,183 B2 granted.
The energy work came first and the medical device last; the companies follow the same order. Every line has a document behind it — the full version, with the issuing authority for each entry, is the biography and timeline.

Technical notes (Zenodo, 11 September 2026):

Granted patents, verifiable on the issuing record:

Status, grant dates and the evidence for each, jurisdiction by jurisdiction, are on the patent register. The complete research index, with how each item is labelled and why, is here. Author record: ORCID 0009-0005-3275-1743.

One person, three name forms

Hemant Karamchand Rohera, Hemant K. Rohera and Hemant Rohera are the same person. Patent databases index the inventor name exactly as printed, so the record carries all three — which is why Justia, for example, lists the work under two inventor pages. The explanation, and how to verify the whole portfolio in one sitting, is in why the record spells the name three ways.

A granted patent protects the invention as claimed. It is not, by itself, evidence of clinical or commercial performance; the technical work behind each family is on the research page.
